Child Evangelism Fellowship of Alabama reaches children in the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciples them, and helps get them established in local Bible-believing churches.
By partnering with local churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals, our mission is to bring the Good News Club® to our public elementary schools, neighborhoods, YMCA’s, Boys and Girls clubs, Day Cares and more. There are 1,721 elementary schools needing a Good News Club® in Alabama. We want to reach them all. Along with Good News Clubs our church partners can also engage in one-time Party Clubs, summer 5-Day Clubs, fair ministry and more.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® conducts background screenings for all who serve with the ministry. We offer teacher training from teenagers to senior adults to reach and engage with children in our churches and communities. In the summer we have a program called Christian Youth in Action®. In this program we train teenagers ages 13-19 across the state to be local missionaries in their communities for the summer. We also teach elementary-age children to share the Gospel with their peers in a program called Go and Tell.
On average, it costs $2,000.00 annually to support each individual Good News Club. Some churches give this and more to help other churches who want to conduct clubs, have volunteers, but can’t give that amount at this time. If a Bible-believing church wants to engage lost children as well as saved children who need to be discipled in our churches and communities, it is our greatest desire to come alongside them and help them do that. We do ask that all partnering churches contribute however they can.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about a church partnership with CEF® Alabama and the next steps. We also invite you to explore our state website -- cefalabama.com.

Our Purpose
Child Evangelism Fellowship® is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. CEF of Alabama’s vision is for every child, in every county, to seek and honor God every day. To enlist, equip, and encourage qualified leaders to enable the fulfillment of the purpose of CEF and to establish thriving chapters throughout Alabama. Our key methods of fulfilling the purpose of CEF are through training, equipping, and supporting local churches and volunteers throughout the state of Alabama to host primary ministries such as Good News Club® and 5-Day Club®.
