After-school Good News Clubs are Bible classes children may attend once a week after school hours. They are an excellent opportunity for children in the public schools to hear the Gospel and learn the truth from God’s Word.
The US Supreme Court ruled in 2001 in Good News Clubs v. Milford Central School that Good News Clubs can meet in public schools after school hours on the same terms as other community groups. CEF respects the parent's right to decide if their child should attend CEF events held on school property. Therefore, signed parental permission is required for attendance.

What is taught in Good News Club®?
Each week the teachers present an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF press. This action packed time with the children also includes songs, Scripture memory verses, a missions story, review games, and other exciting activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

Who teaches a Good News Club®?

Christians who have a desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ work together volunteering their time and energy to teach Good News Clubs. All teachers and workers are trained by CEF® to have a club that is exciting and informative so that children will want to keep coming! They are also required to have a background check and sign the Statement of Faith.
